Reflection for the Day: Prayer Is The Vehicle That Connects Us To God

Jesus, as he taught his followers, explained the importance and the power of prayer. Prayer allows for us to both present our requests to the Lord and to receive His directions. Without prayer there is no connection with Him. Jesus did not present prayer as an option nor something to do occasionally. We must stay connected to the Lord and prayer is the vehicle that we must use.

How would you describe your prayer life? Is it simply for emergencies or do you remain in touch with the Lord with a consistent prayer life? As you pray you gain access to the Lord. You can make your requests known to Him and enjoy the privilege of hearing His directions. Remember, prayer is not an option, it is a command.
