Reflection for the Day: Don't Resist What Can't Be Stopped

 

As the disciples of the Lord continued to share the Gospel of Salvation they came against great opposition. They were beaten, imprisoned, and had their lives threatened. One of the Pharisees realized the foolishness of those that fought against the disciples. He explained to them that if it was not of God, their work would amount to nothing but if it was of God, they could not stop it. They should not resist what could not be stopped.

 

God's will shall be accomplished. It is an unwise decision to fight against God. Do not allow your personal likes and dislikes to interfere with what God is doing. Be supportive of the work of the Lord as well as an encourager of others as they go forward doing the Lord's will. It makes no sense to resist what cannot be stopped.
