Women Cheat Because of WHAT???

Hello All. What do you think about this article about women cheating and the reason behind those cheating ways? HA!
What women cheaters want: Author Kelly Porter speaks.

...says Porter...speaking from my own experience, the one time I did cheat I felt as if my man wasn’t interested in me anymore. His behavior had changed toward me and he was rarely home. I was lonely and filled with lust for a very handsome young man and after a period of time of constantly seeing him out, I gave in. I was looking to fill a void of sex and love, and of course, I only found sex.

Generally speaking, women cheat for the following reasons:
§  For the thrill of it; they know they can get away with it
§  Selfishness
§  She loves sex
§  Her man is cheating
§  There is an inability to communicate with her man regarding problems, and can’t find a solution
§  There is a lack of an emotional connection at home
§  She has a fear of commitment
§  She is lonely
§  Overwhelming lust and desire for someone new
§  The sex is bad or boring at home
§  She seeks a more endowed man
§  Her man is non-attentive

Fifty Shades of Grey

Hello All!
I started reading Fifty Shades of Grey on Saturday. After hearing all of the hoopla surrounding this book, I decided to jump on it and see what it's all about.
I've heard it called the 'mommy porn', that it has been banned from some libraries because of its sexual content.
I have also read an article that says the book is good for married couples.....hmmmm

So with about a quarter of the book left to read....I like it! HA!!!

                                        Are you reading 'the book'?

Black and White and the Mary's

Hello All!
Are you guys watching Mary Mary? Whatcha think?

My take:
Tina is a lot to deal with. Everything overwhelms her, she complains about everything, she is just alot to deal with.

Erica seems to have it more together.
But she went left when she criticized Tina for getting pregnant when 2 minutes ago they were cancelling concerts because of her own pregnancy. WTW??? HA!

Even with all of the drama and bumping heads they seem to be a close family... taking care of each other. Employing their sisters from stylist to the nanny.

A reality show minus the fighting and profanity. NICE!

Travolta Sex Scandal

Second masseur sues John Travolta, claiming Atlanta incident

AP photo

Another anonymous massage therapist has sued actor John Travolta, alleging unwanted sexual advances in an Atlanta hotel.
Radar Online reports that the second unnamed plaintiff has signed on with the attorney who filed the original suit.
John Doe #2 claims that Travolta hired him for a massage “at an unspecified resort in Atlanta on Jan. 28″ and made unwanted advances.
Travolta, who spent time here filming “Killing Season” with Robert DeNiro, was spotted all over metro Atlanta, in numerous restaurants, a Starbucks and a mall, while he was here. The first report we received of his showing up here was Jan. 24, when he dined at The Palm in Buckhead.
Travolta’s representatives are fuming. In a statement reported by Radar and other outlets his spokesman called the claims “complete fiction and fabrication,” and charged that the attorney representing the two anonymous plaintiffs “has filed this suit to try and get his 15 minutes of fame.”
Travolta’s attorney, Marty Singer, told Radar: “The problem in America is anyone can sue anyone. However, in this case this unidentified plaintiff and his lawyer will regret they filed this fabricated suit. We intend to sue both of them for malicious prosecution.”

Top-Avon / Jeans-NY&Co / Shoes-Nordstrom Rack

Hello All.
Hoping every had a Happy Easter and inspiring day.

So I hear Sheree has been released / let go / terminated / canned / fired from RHOA (Real Housewives of Atlanta). According to Ms. 'How You Doin' Wendy Williams, Sheree didn't take the news well, crying and begging to stay. Citing she 'really needs the money'.
So, I wasn't a Sheree fan the first season or two but I thought she mellowed out and seemed less pretentious in more recent seasons.
On the other side of that coin, in the the grand scheme of things you never know when these series will end. The money is good...relatively/great...realistically speaking. So SAVE and bite my tongue how about a CHANGE in lifestyle. HA!

If the rumors are true I hope she has made progress in the area of child support and has a back up plan or two.

Angela Stanton, Lies of a Real Housewife

Hello All, happy mid week!

Angela Stanton has written a book exposing (according to her) Phaedra Parks (RHOA) as a criminal and master mind behind some very serious crimes.
The alleged crimes occurred over 10 years ago. Angela has served time in prison. Why tell it all now???
It seems as though she was real salty after finding out that 'Phae' had  married Apollo, and employed Everett. Both of whom were involved the alleged crime ring but had left her to fend for herself and possibly even setting her up.

So, do you believe?

This is part 2 of a 3 part interview on vibe.com.
The book was released last week!

Really Erica....Did You Think They Wouldn't Air the Fight!!!!!?

Erica Mena: VH1 Ruined My Career When They Aired That Fight! (She Also Says She NEVER Called The Cops)

"Love & Hip Hop" newcomer Erica Mena is pissy at VH1.  After Monday night's fight episode involving Kimbella Vanderhee, Erica says VH1 has now ruined her "career" for actually airing the clip.  She also called in to Power 105 to explain the fight and revealed she never actually called the cops.  The foolishness after the cut....

Now....Erica was pissy at Kimbella for cheapening the video vixen community--ironic choice of words right?--by doing photoshoots and videos for free.  And for only doing "modeling" that consists of showing off her near naked assets.  Funny since a Google search of Erica Mena images turns up the exact same type of images.  But I digress.
Erica told TMZ that she tried to get the champagne glass throwing, hair pulling, face slashing fight scene pulled because it doesn't put her "image" in a good light.
...The 24-year-old tells us, she was completely misrepresented in the episode -- blaming show editors for unfairly portraying her as the bad guy ... and Kimbella as an angel.
Erica tells us, "My whole image in my career is now affected by this. I wanted them to pull this clip because I don’t want to show this side of me."
Interesting.  So she didn't think THIS VIDEO below from earlier this year had any effect on her "career" when she's running down a street fighting and screaming "You ain't sh*t ni**a!" at her baby daddy Raul from Terror Squad?

Or...the fact she was fired by Kourtney Kardashian on an episode of "Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami" because she was unprofessional and missing work to get her son and other ish?  That didn't "affect her career"?  Oh...ok.
Check out video of the fight HERE in case you missed it.
Erica also called in to Cherry Martinez's show on Power 105 to explain that she hooked up with Yandy to get help with her music career.  And she said she's not a violent person, but she was mad people were drawing a comparison between her and Kim. And about her calling the cops--she said she was alone in an unfamiliar place so she needed someone to help her retrieve her items like her phone, which were taken by the VH1 staff.  She said she didn't really call the cops, but an ambulance showed up because they both had lacerations.  Check out the audio:

Sheree Whitfield Doesn’t Deserve Child Support; Find Out What Dirty Stunt She Pulled

Hello all, do you agree with this article? ....hmmm, no matter what the kids need to be taken care of!!!!
Sheree Whitfield of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” is not getting child support for a reason. The courts frowned on the fact that the ex-wife of former NFL star Bob Whitfield defrauded him in a court-ordered settlement, the media reports.
Sheree, in addition to having to be chased down to pay her lawyer Phaedra Parks for her services — again — she was not forthcoming about the reasons Bob Whitfield is not in jail like other deadbeat dads is because, well, he might not be a deadbeat after all.
This is the breakdown: When Sheree and Bob Whitfield got divorced, the judge ordered them to sell their dream mansion and split the proceeds. Bob was ordered to give her $25,000 up front and $400,000 once the house was sold. But Sheree thought she found a sliver of an opening in the law and she pounced on the opportunity with jackal-like instincts.
Sheree, behind the court’s back, asked Bob to give her the $400,000 up front so that she could secure a home for their children. Bob agreed. But once Sheree got the bundles of Benjamins in her hand, she filed multiple lawsuits and refused to leave the house or pay the mortgage. Predictably, the bank came knocking on the door, slapped foreclosure papers in Sheree’s grill and poured the Whitfield clan out of the house and into the streets. Bob lost all the equity he had accrued in the house as a result of Sheree’s actions.
Another brilliant scheme cooked by the She by Sheree fashion line founder and pseudo actress.
The court let Sheree know that it didn’t find her actions amusing. It also warned Sheree that she, in fact, may owe her ex-husband a thick stack for squandering the equity in their home. –terry shropshire

10 Worst Trends of 2011

Do you agree?

We have 2011 to thank for new trends like the fascination with the iPhone's virtual assistant, Siri. But let's take a moment to consider what we could happily do without in 2012. Our experts take on the diet, fitness, hair, and wardrobe malfunctions that were among the worst fads of this year.

1. Spider lashesThe clumpy top and bottom eyelashes that result from a zillion coats of mascara made a dramatic appearance on celebs like Kim Kardashian and Nicki Minaj. The downside is "lumpy, messy mascara that takes double the time to take off that it did to put on. It's a nightmare," says "X Factor USA" style team member Kristofer Buckle. Chanel makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, who works with Lea Michele and Emma Stone, says spider lashes took off because of the overuse of magic-grow eyelash formulas. "Woman had more lashes than they knew what to do with. It looked like they had creatures on their eyes."

2. The Dukan DietThe Dukan Diet surged in popularity at the beginning of 2011, when it was linked to Kate Middleton and her family's wedding weight loss. The high-protein, low-carb regimen, however, is "the cranky mood diet," according to Wendy Bazilian, DrPH, RD, a nutritionist at Golden Door Spa and author of "The Superfoods Rx Diet." "With this one, you are sure to have success at losing weight and then gaining it back again. This is all about restriction, and it should be more about what you can have." Another drawback? It "limits the possibilities for sharing meals," says "Spontaneous Happiness" author Dr. Andrew Weil, who suggests a diet that includes healthy carbs like whole grains, beans, sweet potatoes, and winter squashes.

3. Animal prints"I would ask women to think twice about their animal print choices," advises stylist Kimmy Erin, who styles celebrities like Katherine Heigl and is tired of this year's overabundance of the animal kingdom. "There are too many cheap-looking leopard prints that are destroying an otherwise super classic and chic look."

4. P90X workoutThis high-impact DVD fitness series was invented years ago, but the latest version became a hot home workout trend of 2011. While the regimen has good intentions, "some people are so gung ho that there can be more risks than benefits," says nutritionist Wendy Bazilian. "It is very intense and a great boot camp to do with an instructor, but [without one] it's like being in a lion's den with no supervision."

5. Bandage dressesThis skintight trend peaked in 2011 and was all over the red carpet. It reappeared frequently on celebs like Jennifer Love Hewitt, and it seemed like everyone took at least one turn in this tightly wrapped number. As Gotham and Hamptons' columnist Jeffrey Slonim notes, it's time to hang up this tired trend. Women everywhere can finally exhale and watch for a trend that's a little more forgiving.

6. Super stilettos This year saw a rise in heel height, with six-inch shoes hitting recent New York runways. The low point of this trend? Sore feet aside, there is a risk that your footwear could actually send you to the hospital with back pain or worse.

7. PantyhoseWhile Kate Middleton gets plenty of praise for fashion inspiration, she also reintroduced sheer pantyhose this year. (And L'eggs launched its first TV ad in more than a decade.) While Tim Gunn respects her style, he is not a fan of the hosiery. "I think there are few things that look as anachronistic as a sheer stocking," he says. "If you're wearing stockings, it should be known!"

8. Fisherman feathersFeather lures made a debut as hair accessories this year. In fact, they were so popular that fly shops were low on inventory for the actual fisherman to use. While the feathers create a hippie chic appropriate for music shows like Coachella, "there are now a lot of 7-year-olds who wear them," said Sarah Bernard of the Thread. The trend was also noted by celeb stylist Jose Eber: "Adults should leave this one to the kids."

9. Harem pantsHarem pants, which reappeared three years ago and gained popularity in 2011, are the updated version of MC Hammer pants from the late '80s. They answer the question, "What would happen if you crossed skinny jeans with a skort, and then added an elastic waistband?" The result is a trend that only Gwen Stefani looks good in.

10. Wedge booties"One trend I would love to see put to rest in 2012 is the wedge ankle boot, especially worn with short skirts," says "Glee" costumer Jessica Pasternak, who saw the look on many a red carpet this year. The chunky footwear does nothing to elongate the leg. "It makes it look like you have stumps on your feet," says Pasternak.

Nope...can't say I agree with all 10; definitely not!

Five Reasons Jackie Was Voted Off The Island On “Basketball Wives LA”

jackie confrontation basketball wives la Last night was a hilarious and drama filled episode of “Basketball Wives LA”. The girls were continuing their relaxing Hawaiian vacation and still unveiling new drama that Jackie caused. In an attempt to smooth things over with Jackie at the beginning of the episode, all the ladies meet during breakfast to try and confront Jackie about her manipulative ways. Nothing gets resolved in this confrontation however, as Jackie comes in the room already on the defense and ready for whatever the girls had to throw at her. After a brief shouting match, the girls realize that it’s no getting through to Jackie and decide to go clear their heads by doing a little shopping.

Now, I don’t know about you, but picking out cute shoes with the enemy doesn’t make things okay! Jackie seemed confused that there was still tension in the air between her and the girls during their shopping outing, and continued to try and find someone to pull to the side and talk about how fake every one is, although it seemed like this time, none of the girls were actually listening.
Later on in the episode, Malaysia gets a phone call from another “basketball wife” who dishes on what Jackie has said about each and every girl on the show. At this point, everyone has had enough of Jackie’s ways and they collectively (yes, Draya included) decide to vote Jackie off the island and send her packing back to LA! Ouch!
Here are five reasons why Jackie was voted off the island on last night’s episode!

1. Because she is the island! Prior to Jackie’s exit, she stated, “me voted off the island? I AM the island!” Anyone who thinks they are the whole island of Hawaii deserves to be sent home. I’m just saying!

2. Because she’s “tacky Jackie”. After the girls decided to send Jackie packing, Draya said, “Say goodbye to tacky Jackie!” The nickname itself pretty much sums up reason number two why Jackie should have been voted off the island.

3. Because she brought her husband on the trip. Where was Doug Christie hiding all this time? He just randomly appeared during this episode only for us to find out that he has been on the vacation with her all this time? I thought this was supposed to be a relaxing GIRLS vacation? I guess it’s a good thing that she brought her hubby along so he could help her pack those bags when her time was up!

4. Because shes “coo-ky” and she’s like 59 and a half (in Laura’s voice). All this drama was so unnecessary. The back and forth, he said she said, it was enough to make me crazy! It’s no reason all that drama should have occurred during a vacation in paradise and it all came from Jackie. I would have sent her packing too and went back to sipping Pina Coladas on the beach!

5. Because her horse sensed that she had a bad vibe. When the girls went horse back riding, the horse that Jackie chose to ride seemed to sense that she had a bad vibe. According to Draya, horses can sense when people have evil spirits surrounding them. I wouldn’t want anybody with an evil spirit close to me during my vacation!

Why do you think that Jackie was voted off the island?
